Itinerary

Arrival — Welcome to Tanzania

Upon landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), a representative meets you and transfers you to accommodation in the Arusha area. Check-in begins in the afternoon, giving you time to rest and prepare for the upcoming Tanzania Safari.

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, your guide meets you for a morning departure toward Tarangire National Park. By around 10:00 AM you enter the park and begin a full-day game drive across its vast grasslands and ancient baobab forests. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds and the wildlife that gathers around the Tarangire River. Throughout the day you explore different areas of the park, searching for elephants, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, antelopes and predators that roam the savannah. Lunch is served as a boxed meal during your game drive. Later in the afternoon, you leave the park and travel toward the Ngorongoro highlands for overnight rest.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area & Crater Descent

You depart early after breakfast, or with a packed meal, making your way to the gate of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Around 7:00 AM, you descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, entering one of the richest wildlife habitats on the continent. The crater floor’s lakes, marshes, plains and woodlands support exceptional densities of animals, offering chances to see elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, predators, and — with luck — a rhinoceros. You enjoy a full day of wildlife viewing with a packed lunch near a water source. In the afternoon, you continue your journey onward toward the Serengeti.

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, or with packed meals ready, you begin your drive through the rugged route connecting Ngorongoro to the Serengeti. As you enter the Serengeti, the landscape opens into wide, sweeping plains where the day’s game drive begins. You spend the entire day exploring this world-famous ecosystem, searching for lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, and seasonal herds of migrating wildlife. Lunch is provided as a boxed meal during your time in the park, and the game viewing continues until evening.

Serengeti National Park

Your final safari day begins with breakfast and a last morning game drive through the Serengeti’s plains. After enjoying the early-morning wildlife activity, you begin the return journey toward the Ngorongoro highlands, then continue on to Arusha. A boxed lunch is provided for the route, and you arrive in the city later in the afternoon, concluding your Tanzania Safari adventures.

Departure — End of Safari

After breakfast the following morning, you are transferred back to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your departure flight, marking the end of your Tanzania Globe Tour.
