Itinerary

Transfer from Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After having an early breakfast¸ you will be briefed by the guide about the 3days safari. You will then set off from your hotel as you embark on the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National park driving through Masaka-Mbarara highway¸ enjoy the stunning landscape sceneries along the way. Enjoy a wonderful stopover at the Uganda Equator for photographs¸ continue to Mbarara town for lunch at Igongo Cultural Centre. Immediately after lunch¸ proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park upon arrival you will then proceed to the lodge for check-in¸ dinner and overnight.

Gorilla Trekking and Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

After having an early morning breakfast¸ head to the park headquarters for briefing about the do’s and don’ts of gorilla trekking by the ranger guides before embarking on your gorilla trek. Head in the forest and the trek until you find the gorillas. Gorilla trekking can take 2 to 8 hours depending to the movement of the gorillas. After finding the Gorillas in Bwindi¸ you will be given only 1 hour to observe and take photographs with them¸ creating unforgettable memories. Following the trek¸ return to the park headquarters to collect your well-earned gorilla trekking certificate. You will go back to the lodge for a late lunch. You will then check-out at the lodge.
Drive to Lake Mburo National Park and enjoy viewing the beautiful scenery along the lake in the evening. Lake Mburo is notably blessed with over 315 bird spaces and probably the best place to view acacia- associated birds. Check into the safari lodge for an overnight.

Game Drive Boat Cruise and Transfer to Kampala

After having breakfast. You will head for a 2-hour boat cruise on Lake Mburo which is home to a variety of water animals such as hippopotamus¸ zebra¸ and crocodile as well as several bird species. Upon finishing the boat cruise¸ you will then end the 3day safari with game drive through the park where your experienced tour guide will point out names of many birds¸ reptiles and mammals that you may not have ever spotted yourself. Ask questions and learn about the beautiful African Wildlife. Have lunch. After the thrilling experience¸ you will continue your journey to Kampala. Your journey to Kampala will take approximately 5 hours.
