9 Day Delightful Safari & Beach Experience

Your adventure begins with a scenic drive from Nairobi to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve, passing through the breathtaking Great Rift Valley viewpoint for a brief stop and photography session. Arriving at your lodge/camp in time for lunch, you will check in, freshen up, and enjoy a delicious meal. In the afternoon, you'll embark on your first exhilarating game drive, where you will have the chance to spot the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino—along with numerous other wildlife species roaming the vast savannah. As the sun sets, you will return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation. For those interested, an optional visit to a Masai village can be arranged to experience the rich culture and traditions of the Masai people.

You'll wake up early for an optional hot air balloon safari, offering a spectacular bird’s-eye view of the golden plains and wildlife below as the sun rises. After landing, you'll enjoy a champagne breakfast in the wild before rejoining the rest of the group. The rest of the day is dedicated to an immersive full-day game drive across the reserve, exploring different areas and tracking more animals, including cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and the elusive black rhino. A picnic lunch is served in a scenic spot, allowing you to soak in the beauty of the Mara. Later in the evening, you will return to your lodge/camp for dinner, sharing the day's sightings around a cozy campfire.

After breakfast, you'll bid farewell to Masai Mara and embark on a picturesque drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its flamingo-filled lake and thriving rhino population. Arriving in time for lunch, you will check in and relax before heading out for an afternoon game drive and birdwatching. You'll explore the park’s diverse ecosystem, home to Rothschild’s giraffes, lions, leopards, and large herds of buffalo. The alkaline lake provides a perfect backdrop for birdwatchers, with numerous flamingos and pelicans dotting its shores. You will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

You'll enjoy an early morning game drive in Lake Nakuru to catch the wildlife in action before departing for Lake Naivasha, a serene freshwater lake surrounded by lush vegetation. Upon arrival, you will check in and have lunch, followed by a boat ride on Lake Naivasha, where you will spot hippos, a variety of birds, and possibly some giraffes and zebras grazing near the shores. You will then proceed to Crescent Island, a hidden gem where you can enjoy a guided walking safari among giraffes, wildebeests, and antelopes. You'll spend the evening at leisure, watching the sunset over the lake before dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge.

After breakfast, you will depart for Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for lunch at your lodge/camp with stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. In the afternoon, you will head out for an exciting game drive, where you will encounter large herds of elephants, lions, cheetahs, and other wildlife in the park’s open plains and swamps. As the day winds down, you will return to the lodge for a relaxing evening. If interested, you can opt for a visit to a Masai village to interact with the local community, learn about their culture, and watch traditional dances.

Today, you will enjoy a full-day game drive exploring Amboseli’s diverse landscapes, from acacia woodlands to expansive savannahs and the famous swamp areas, which attract a high concentration of wildlife. You'll drive up to Observation Hill, where you will be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the entire park and Mount Kilimanjaro in the background. You'll enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild before continuing your exploration of Amboseli’s thriving ecosystem. You'll return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and relaxation under the starlit African sky.

After breakfast, you will bid farewell to Amboseli and drive to Emali train station, where you will board the train for a scenic journey to Mombasa. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to Diani Beach, a tropical paradise on Kenya’s southern coast. You'll check into your beachfront resort and spend the rest of the day unwinding by the pristine white sands or taking a dip in the warm Indian Ocean waters. You'll enjoy a relaxed dinner with the soothing sound of waves in the background.

This day is yours to enjoy at leisure. You'll soak up the sun on the soft sandy beaches, take a dip in the turquoise waters, or indulge in optional activities such as snorkeling, scuba diving, deep-sea fishing, or a visit to Shimba Hills National Reserve for a short safari experience. You can also explore Wasini Island for a dolphin-watching excursion. In the evening, you will enjoy a beachside dinner as you watch the sunset over the ocean.

You'll wake up to a peaceful morning by the beach and enjoy a leisurely breakfast while soaking in the last moments of Diani’s tropical paradise. After checking out, you will be transferred to the Mombasa SGR Train Station, where you will board the comfortable and scenic train ride back to Nairobi. You'll enjoy the changing landscapes as you journey through Tsavo’s vast wilderness and Kenya’s countryside. Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be met and transferred to your preferred location, marking the end of your 9-day safari and beach adventure.
