Itinerary

Arrival – Welcome to Tanzania

Upon landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), a representative meets you and transfers you to your accommodation in the Arusha area. Check-in begins in the afternoon, giving you time to rest after your journey and prepare for the start of your Tanzania Safari the next morning.

Tarangire National Park

Your safari begins after breakfast when your guide meets you and you depart for Tarangire National Park. You arrive around mid-morning and immediately begin your game drive across the vast savannah dotted with towering baobab trees. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant population and the animals that gather along the Tarangire River during the dry season. Throughout the day you explore the park’s diverse landscapes while searching for elephants, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, antelopes and predators that inhabit the area. Lunch is provided as a boxed meal and the game viewing continues into the afternoon before you head toward the Manyara region for the night.

Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, or with a packed meal, you drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a full day of exploration. Manyara’s groundwater forest, open plains and lakeshore offer excellent opportunities to observe elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and abundant birdlife. The changing scenery keeps the game drive dynamic and enjoyable, offering a completely different environment compared to Tarangire. After a full day inside the park, you begin the return drive to Arusha in the afternoon, bringing your short but rewarding Tanzania Safari to a close.

Departure – Reflecting on Your Tanzania Safari Journey

After breakfast the following morning, you are transferred back to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight, marking the end of your Tanzania Globe Tour experience.
